This paper presents a Novel Fuzzified Multi Objective (MO) version of Honey Bee Mating Optimization (MOHBMO) approach for optimal tuning of linear parameters (such as the gain and time constant) and nonsmooth nonlinear parameters (such as saturation limits) of Power System Stabilizer (PSS). The problem of robustly tuning of PSS based SMIB design is formulated as an optimization problem according to the time domain-based and eigenvalue based objective functions which are solved by the MOHBMO technique that has a strong ability to find the most optimistic results. The effectiveness of the proposed Fuzzy based MOHBMO based PSS is demonstrated on a Single-Machine Infinite-Bus (SMIB) power system through the nonlinear time domain simulation and some performance indices under different operating conditions in comparison with the SPEA algorithm based tuned stabilizer and conventional PSS.
