Implementing an Environmental Management System and Supporting Environmental Management Information System at Archer Daniels Midland Company

Since 2009, ADM has made significant progress in implementing its global EMS and GEMINI. Through detailed planning and communications, the organization has already realized benefits including an improved environmental culture, standardization of environmental processes, and increased efficiencies in environmental management. In 2013, ADM will continue its EMS implementation efforts by rolling out the framework to its international regions. The GEMINI rollout will continue with additional waves of Compliance and Task module implementation and the data intensive "Media" modules (air, water, waste, and chemical).
