Concentration and Market Structure Optimization of China Real Estate Industry

摘要

The low concentration of real estate market in China results in uneconomic of enterprise scale in the industry and hampers the optimization of real estate market structure. Firstly, this paper studies the market structure of real estate industry by the theory of industrial organization, thought the fast market scale expansion, many real estate enterprises, and low barrier of scale coefficient are the main causes of low concentration of real estate market; then, taking the concentration of real estate market as the main indicator for measuring the market structure of real estate industry, surveys the concentration of real estate market in China by CRn and HI to obtain a conclusion that, the real estate market in China should be concentrated to optimize the market structure.
