The experiment system of gas-solid two phase flowing in the cross moving bed was founded. The pressure drop of single phase and two phase flowing in the cross moving bed is studied. And the influence of the particle size, shape et al. on the pressure drop was investigated. The result shows that the pressure drop increases with the increasing gas velocity and the decreasing particle size. And the gas distribution along the bed height is more uniform with the lower gas velocity. The particle static and flowing has no effect on the pressure drop. And the different particle shape will result different pressure drop due to the different bed voidage and packing structure. The experience formula was founded to forecast the pressure drop of different size cylindrical particle. The predictive value is consistent with the experiment result.
