Fabrication and characterization of 3D-waveguides in Eu³⁺-doped oxyfluorosilicate glass

To our knowledge for the first time 3D-Channel waveguides have been fabricated 100 µm beneath the sample surface in an indigenously developed Eu³⁺-doped oxyfluorosilicate glass using ultrashort laser pulses and performed the loss measurements.
