This research was carried out to evaluate the airtightness of timber frame house. 2 houses were selected and blow door test was used for measuring the airtightness. The airtightness in ACH50 were 10.98~(-1) and 6.07~(-1) respectively. Thermal imager was used to find out air infiltration route. From obtained thermal images, heat loss was occurred mainly in joints between wall and frame. So, the joints were covered with PE tapes. And, airtightness was evaluated. Then, effect of the joint on airtightness was about 0.5~(-1) in ACH50.
