In this paper, the Multilevel Compressed Block Decomposition (MLCBD) for direct solution is applied for higher order method of electric field integral equation (EFIE) of three-dimensional (3-D) perfect electric conductor (PEC) scattering problems. The EFIE analysis is suitable both for the closed structure and open structure scatters. The higher order hierarchical basis functions are used to provide more accurate modeling and reduce the number of unknowns. This new method makes the direct solution more efficient to the electrically large problem. The numerical example of monostatic scattering computation shows the efficiency of the proposed method in this paper.
