The results of the study proved that non-invasive acceleration signals can be used to distinguish CPPD from SpA and RA subjects. Mean power of the acceleration signal, in the range of 100-500 Hz, from CPPD subjects was significantly higher than those obtained from SpA subjects and rheumatoid arthritis subjects.
