The effect of paths coupling is discussed in transfer path analysis processing. With establishing a TPA model, three different coupling manners were studied: all paths coupling, coupling among three engine mounts and coupling between two exhaust hangers, coupling among three DOFs of each exciting point. The second manner has little effect to the synthesis steering wheel vibration and estimated loads, and the third manner will cause the result overestimated greatly. So the coupling between the engine mounts and exhaust hangers could be ignored. Three DOFs of each exciting point must couple.
