1. When properly implemented, the PO method can estimate the effect on far-out sidelobes, gain loss and boresight error (BSE) of VSAT antennas as modified by large nearby blockage objects (in or outside of the main beam). 2. computes reasonably accurate antenna patterns including far out sidelobes, and is easy to program on a PC computer. 3. More comprehensive 3D analysis is being performed to generalize the results.
