摘要

Today, the automotive domain has to integrate the ecological constraint. For the automakers, the down sizing is one solution which permits to decrease the CO_2 emission. For the suspension coil springs, the industry has set to reduce the bar diameter and the number of coils' spring which necessite to increase the mechanical properties of the material. Because the springs are also subjected to corrosive environment, the high strength steels used have to exhibit high corrosion resistance.
