In this paper we investigate one of the most significant parameter in the fourth power algorithm with parallel processing for QPSK signals' coherent detection: number of sampled signals at the receiver and attempt to analyze its relationship with other factors in the system. We also try to further discuss about the limit of this algorithm in phase noise range.
