摘要

In this paper,a new design of finite impulse response (FIR) narrow pass-band filter based on window fbnction method is proposed. The FIR narrow pass-band filters based on frequency sampling method is also presented for comparing their property. These two types of filters with almost same order are all used in protein coding regions prediction to get better prediction results. Measured with approximate correlation (AC), the experiments taking HMR195 and BG570 as testing data sets prove that the designed filters have outperformance at nucleotide level.
