摘要

This paper describes a swirlmeter with low power consumption and high precision. We make great effort to reduce power consumption from aspects of hardware and software. The swirlmeter is designed with power isolation and battery-supplied to get rid of power supply noise and automatic switch between external power and battery to expand its application. MSP430F4794 was selected to collect the sensor signal and run the program to ensure low power consumption. The power management module, the regular sampling module of temperature and pressure, the ferroelectric memory module,paterns for Finite State Machinen (FSM),MCU entering into low power mode are analyzed in detail. We did some experiment to test the quality of this swirlmeter on the bell-type gas flow standard device. According to preliminary experiment, the swirlmeter has good performance in measurement precision. Test results have proved that not only the power consumption of this swirlmeter can be greatly reduced when battery-powered,but also the precision of swirlmeter signal measurement and pulse output could be improved.
