On-chip mirrorless-oscillation in nonlinear silicon waveguides using non-degenerate four-wave mixing

Nondegenerate mirrorless four-wave mixing oscillation with frequency tunability is proposed in silicon nonlinear waveguide by using higher spatial mode. As low as ∼2W threshold power is obtained in several centimeters long waveguide.
