E-Cultural heritage and natural history (ECHNH) have high value and must be preserved, disseminated and accessible. One way to preserve the ECHNH is by providing information that can be accessible anytime, anywhere and with a variety of digital communication devices. In Indonesia, repository of ECHNH stored multimedia information from heterogeneous and distributed system. Hence, it needs to develop architecture so the information in ECHNH repository can be accessed widely from one portal (gate) by various digital communication devices. In order to satisfy users to get information needed, the query not limited to text but also from image, video and audio. The ECHNH architecture is developed using grid technology to address problem of distributed data from multiple format and information retrieval system from different platform. The ECHNH architecture also expanded to capability of multichannel-access. This architecture assured the accessibility-of information available in ECHNH system from various digital communication devices.
