The Query System for Automatic Weather Station Based on WebGIS A Case of Fuxin City

the great amount of data accumulation and the quick updated information are the characteristics of data collecting for automatic weather stations.Meanwhile automatic weather stations are widely spreaded.Therefore, the pressing problems for meteorological department are how to display the data of the sites integratedly, and conduct network transmission and sharing of information.In this paper, automatic weather stations in Fuxin area are taken as the research object to design automatic weather station inquiry system., utilizing the combination of the Internet technology and GIS technology, visual studio as a development platform, C # language and SQL server 2005 as database management software,and Microsoft.net framework as a basis.This system can realize the possibility of real-time release for automated weather station , inquiries and layer management, user management, statistical analysis and other functions.
