An Improved Superimposed Non-periodic Pilot Scheme for Channel Estimation Of OFDM Systems

An attractive feature of the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system is its simple one-tap equalizer for linear channel distortions. Nevertheless, one still has to address the channel estimation issue. As the pilot-based channel estimation wastes channel resources, while the blind channel estimation requires complex calculations, so in this paper, a non-periodic hidden pilot channel estimation method is analyzed, and a method for time variant wireless channel estimation is proposed by the hidden pilot technology which base on two weights. Finally, the algorithm is simulated and the results are analyzed.
