As the key components in hydraulic systems, hydraulic electromagnetic valves play the vinculum role between the electricity control system and hydraulic system. They are widely used and their failure rate are very high, therefore the diagnosis of the electromagnetic valve failure is very important. By sensing magnetic field and vibration, the non-intrusive testing and diagnosing techniques for electromagnetic valves were studied. The common failure mechanism of electromagnetic valve and the force conditions of the electromagnetic valve spool in the power process were analyzed. Then, the electromagnetic valve transient simulation model is obtained based on the magnetic circuit analysis. The transient characteristics of electromagnetic valve are compared and analyzed. This paper laid a solid foundation for the quick maintenance of the electromagnetic valve failure.
