摘要

In this paper preliminary results of the Cat-1 project”Landslides forecasting analysis by displacementtime series derived from Satellite and TerrestrialInSAR data” are presented. The project focuses onlandslide forecasting analysis, based on theapplication of slope creep models. Displacementsdata through time, related to landslides strainevolution, are usually derived by classicalmonitoring methods. Here we propose the use ofspaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR)differential interferometry (DInSAR) to achieve pastdisplacements information of already collapsedlandslides. Persistent Scatterers (PS) InSAR andSmall Baseline Subset (SBAS) InSAR areconsidered and discussed in the perspective ofproposed application. Furthermore, a rating methodto evaluate the suitability of landslide prediction andinvestigation by Satellite InSAR technique ispresented and tested over two case studies.
