摘要

The repeatable processing of electrospun nanofibers with carbon nanotubes presents newchallenges due to changes in solution viscosity and conductance imparted by the nanotubes.Several techniques have been investigated to improve the processing characteristics of suchmaterials, as well as enhancing the range of microstructure tailoring possible. Two key conceptsare the use of a tubular faraday focusing cage in conjunction with twin injection coelectrospinning.This paper presents advancements in the processing of electrospun fibers anddetails the effectiveness of various advanced control strategies involved in the selectiveintegration of carbon nanotube networks into those fibers in order to show that a large degree ofcontrol over the micro and nanostructure is possible.
