Installing centralizer is a practicable measure for the problem of controlling eccentric wear of sucker rods in highly directional well. The location and quantity of centralizer is whether suited the eccentric wear of sucker rods and tubing in practical situation, and there is still not a measure to simulate the phenomenon after installing centralizer. With respect to this problem, this paper gives an introduction to a measure of calculation and three dimensional display.The main features to this measure are:utilize the logging data from measurement to simulate wellbore space trajectory, calculate the loads that make sucker rods bent in three dimensional space ( the location of eccentric wear);calculating the location of centralizer must be classified three situation: under pressure, excessive log-leg severity, considering the deflection;calculation analysis of force after installing centralizer on tubing and sucker rods;completed solution can be given by integrating the above situation and considering the engineer experience.Making positive effects on 5 oil wells by this method, instructive effect provide by the measure for controlling and decreasing eccentric wear of sucker rods.
