摘要

In recent years, with the implementation of Human Genome Project and the International HapMap Project as well as the high-throughput technology, Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS) has been developing rapidly. Using this technology, researchers have found a series of related-genes or mutations associated with complex diseases. Psoriasis is a common clinical chronic inflammatory skin disease with the basic performance of erythematic scales. As a kind of complex disease, its pathogenesis is not yet clear, probably relating to genetic, immunity and the interaction of various environmental factors. Using the method of GWAS, the worldwide researchers have found several susceptibility genes, providing new direction for the treatment of psoriasis. Here, we elaborately summarize the important consequents of psoriasis GWAS in recent years and discuss the challenges of GWAS at this stage, then summarize future research trends in order to provide help for further exploration about the genetic mechanism of psoriasis.
