The sources and the genesis of fluorine in the high-fluorine environment of Yangshapao reservoir were analyzed by analyzing the regional geology, hydrogeology and soil characteristics in the low plain of western Jilin province. The results show that the fluorine-rich rocks from Daxing'an mountain, the fluorine-high soil in western Jilin province and the fluorine-containing strata formed in different time and genesis provide Yangshapao reservoir with the abundant sources of fluorine matter. Surface water and groundwater is the dynamic condition of high-fluorine environment in Yangshapao reservoir. The low and flat accumulated plain is the geographic environment for forming high-fluorine environment, The dry and semi-dry climate is the promoting condition for forming high-fluorine environment. The high-fluorine environment of Yangshapao reservoir is formed in the interaction of the above various conditions.
