The characteristics such as chemical constitutes, appearance shape, substance on stitutes of typical dry desulfurization ash from dense flow absorber were well studied, which combined with theory analysis, chemical analysis, SEM, TGA-DTG, XRD. The results showed that this desulfurization ash were mainly constituted of CaSO4, CaSO3 and CaCO3, and its granularity was slenderer than pulverized fly ash and it has big surface areas; at low temperature, it hard be decomposed and oxidized, but at high temperature and in oxygen circumstance, it can be oxidized easily. The characteristics were studied will provide references for utilizing of desulfurization ash and popularizing dense flow absorber dry desulfurization technology.
