With the rapid development of science and technology, information has become an important part of daily life. For enterprises, it plays an important role that make use of information effectively. From the perspective of information storage, combined with a popular topic of cloud computing, this paper focuses onthe importance of cloud storage. The theory and framework of cloud storage which is distinguished from the cloud computing is described in detail in this paper. It introduced the apply situation and the scope of cloud storage in the small and medium enterprises, and telled us how SMEs can choose their own cloud storage service. Showing the charm of cloud storage from the practical application examples. At last the topic analysed the status of cloud storage and future trends from a different point of view.
