This paper discusses the application of hydraulic pulse testing for determining the permeability of Stanstead Granite. Several tests were performed on cylindrical samples, including ones containing cylindrical cavities. The conventional piezo-conduction equation and Biot's theory of poroelasticity were used to analyse the experimental results.
