In this paper, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation are expatiated distinctly according to the conversion principle and structure model of SP-cSHG+DFG-DC-AOWC (Single Pass All Optical Wavelength Converter Based on Cascaded Second Harmonic Generation and Difference Frequency Generation with Double Conversion Configuration) relative to SP-cSHG+DFG-DC-AOWC (Single Pass All Optical Wavelength Converter Based on Cascaded Second Harmonic Generation and Difference Frequency Generation with Single Conversion Configuration). For SP-cSHG+DFG-DC-AOWC compared with SP-cSHG+DFG-SC-AOWC, the formula about total conversion efficiency (and total normalized conversion efficiency) is demonstrated detailedly, the characteristics and advantages in waveguide length and wave power are discussed deeply, and the methods and measures to get relatively higher conversion efficiency are given concretely.
