CONSIDERATION ABOUT VIBRATIONS OF THE THICK PLATES

摘要

In this paper is made a study about vibrations of a plate, on condition that the plate thickness doesn 't allow to verify the Kirchhoff's fundamentals concerning the bending motion. To this purpose, it is necessary a more complete theory based on the Timoshenko beams one. First, are determined the displacements field and the unit deformations tensor. Then the deformation mechanical work and the kinetic deformation energy are obtained. Finally, using the Hamilton's principle, the motion equations of the thick plate result.
