'Evolution of Low Impact Development in the Puget Sound Region'

In 1999, few professionals in the Puget Sound region were familiar with low impact development (LID). Far fewer possessed the confidence and experience to assert that it should be required for new development and redevelopment projects. Yet research and on the ground projects suggested that LID showed great potential for improving how we develop land and manage stormwater.
