The GALILEO project breaks new ground in satellite operations by the recent approach of providing procedures, manuals and infrastructure data for satellite operators, ground operators, maintenance staff and technicians. Historically operators were following exclusively paper copy based procedures. The Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) Tool is an instrument supporting spacecraft operations execution by means of electronically published manuals and simultaneously reducing mountains of paper copies and potential human errors.
