Recently, the UWB technology has experienced many significant developments. Freescale Semiconductor was the first company that has successfully produced UWB chips in the world and its XS110 chipset has been commercialized to the market [1]. However, there are still challengers especially in designing and developing UWB antenna that meets the FCC and market requirements. UWB technology has had a substantial effect on antenna design. Nowadays, markets tend to produce the WPAN devices in small size but with high rate data transfer. Therefore, the UWB antenna must be designed with wide impedance bandwidth and in small size, enabling it to be fixed into the WPAN devices.
