The results of sulfur capacity at median temperature in flue gas,material composition,apparent morphology of calcinate and hydrate of alkali industry waste were integrated, influence mechanism of rapid hydration drying on median- temperature sulfur fixation performance of alkali industrial waste were explored.It can be found that sulfur capacity of experimental alkali industrial waste after hydration reaction are 1.5 to 3 times those of calcined samples,in the course of rapid hydration drying,calcium oxide,silicate and aluminate react with water to form calcium hydroxide,silicate hydrate and aluminate hydrate,who have higher sulfur fixation activity,in addition,during the process of physical adsorbing water in the particles evaporated to escape,pores are re-formed,which are favorable for sulfur fixation.
