The numerical simulation research for thermo-responsive behavior of LNG spherical tank under the fire environment will be of great importance both on theoretical and practical aspects on forecasting and controlling of fire accident and guaranteeing the safe operations as well. The partial differential equation and corresponding definite condition were set up in this article to describe the LNG spherical tank thermal response under the fire environment on the basis of the conservation of mass, conversation of energy and other research production from both domestic and abroad. And try to solve the mathematical model with the method of limited difference numerical method and find out the changing law of the temperature, pressure and quality within the liquid area and the gas area. Through using the developed numerical simulation software under the fire environment the LNG spherical tank thermal response, we simulate the value of the LNG spherical tank thermal response under the fire environment and analyze the factors that affect the spherical tank thermal response and put forward the laws of the factors that affect the spherical tank thermal response, and provide theoretical guidance and basis for the designing and safe transportation of the LNG spherical tank.
