Analysis of Approaches to the Transformation of China's Transportation to Low Carbon Economy

In recent years, the proportion of China's transportation Industry energy consumption has been increasing. It is estimated that the transportation Industry will become the second largest energy-consuming industry. Thus, it is imperative to transform China's transportation to low-carbon sector. Based on the analysis of energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions of China's transportation Industry, we elaborate the necessity for the low-carbon transformation of the transportation Industry, and propose the ways to the low-carbon transformation of China's transportation to economy, which consist of the adjustment of energy structure, the reduction of energy consumption and using the advanced Science and Technology.
