Because many complicate facts influence the slope stability of open pit mine, it is difficult to make sure the precise extent of the influence. Recently, people pay more attention to the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) for its powerful nonlinear fitting ability which can be applied to analyze stability of the slope. The consideration of effect on the stability of the open pit mine includes obliquity of structure surface, interior structure surface's length, cohesive force, frictional force, hydraulic pressure ratio and unit weight. The results showed that the model can meet the basic needs for assessment on slope stability in open pit mine. The BP network model with tree layers structure of 6-7-1 was built. Accuracy of the simulation result is above 90 percent. Therefore, the ANN model can meet the precision requirement of mining project. The predicted results also can be used as technology basis for preventing final slope disasters in open pit mines.
