Bearing capacity of cast-in-place bored pile with post grouting technique

In order to make detailed analysis on the mechanical performance and load carrying capacity of cast-in-place bored pile with post grouting technique for highway bridges and study influence factors, FEM method has become one of the most essential assistant way. Based on two groups of trial pile in the same geological region of WEIHE bridge, which located at new airport construction project of Shaanxi province, contrast research between numeric analogy and static load experiment were executed. It is showed that the relative error between numerical results and experimental ones is less than 1 percent and decreases with growth of load grade, especially when the load grade greater than 10000kN. Besides the bearing capacity of post grouting bored pile has increased 45 percent. In conclusion, the model in this paper, which considered load transferring factor, may represent the practical engineering and post grouting technique can exert the bearing potential. The research results can be applied to the design of bridge foundation.
