摘要

A high frequency single clement ultrasound imaging system for small animals has been developed. This custom designed system relies on high speed precise positioning system. This high frequency ultrasound system is capable of providing spatial resolution down to 15 μm. The system is equipped with different high frequency ultrasound transducers of 30, 70, and 100 MHz in center frequency. Weighted SAFT technique is applied on received signals for focusing. Weighting windows arc used for apodization, and different window types arc tested. Preliminary results of an experimental study using real data acquired from a wire phantom are promising. This system offers a significance help for cardiovascular researcher using animal models, since it can be used to reconstruct noninvasive B-mode images for mouse hearts and blood vessels.
