While the physical mechanisms responsible for aneurysm rupture or stabilization remain an area of active research, AR and aneurysm size are hypothesized to be important in this pathology. A methodology has been developed for creating a wide range of ARs. These ARs are in the range commonly found in human saccular aneurysms.
