摘要

When the MV with prolapsed posterior leaflet is repaired by ETER with central suture, tension in the anterior leaflet chordae increases and that in posterior leaflet marginal chordae decreases significantly. There is no significant tension change in posterior leaflet intermediate chordae. This significant rise in the tension of anterior leaflet chordae, especially marginal chordae, can possibly lead to the biological alteration, chordae elongation or rupture.
