Analysis Collateral: Information needed for foundation integrity test data analysis

The term Marketing Collateral is well-established in the business development world as the collective name for the variety of media used to support the sales of a product or service. These sales aids are intended to make the sales effort easier and more effective. The author hereby suggests the term Analysis Collateral to define the additional information that makes analysis and interpretation of nondestructive deep foundation integrity test data easier and more effective.This paper discusses the types of information that should be made available to, and be reviewed by, the analyst of deep foundation integrity test data, before coming to any conclusions about the data and the circumstances that generated it. Case histories are used to illustrate the results of failure to take notice of the available collateral information.
