Climate Change

This manuscript is intended as an introduction to the OTC.09 panel discussion which is scheduled for Wednesday 6th May 9:30am - 12:00pm, room 306. Climate change is considered a major issue in the scientific, economic, political and media communities - but the causes and consequences of climate change are not fully understood. This SEG/AAPG sponsored OTC panel session is intended to provide an understanding of the scientific basis of climate change, including the data, methodology and interpretations of the scientific evidence. Globally recognized experts on this subject will be invited to present their views and discuss the observations with the audience.
