Future development of power system based on electricity market and renewable energy: a study for China Grid

摘要

This paper gives an overview of the latest development of power system based on electricity market and renewable energy during recent ten years in China. The power systems worldwide have been entering a deregulated market with various renewable energy power resources. As a result of this, the security of supply, economical operation and sustainable development of large-scale power systems must be taken into account as restructuring of the electricity supply industry and electricity market. Further, the future development of large-scale China Grid considering market, renewable energy generation and security with risk assessment depends on coordinated and balanced program. This paper discusses the present status of electricity market with renewable energy technology. Finally, a future outlook about market framework of China Grid had been made.
