摘要

Lately we had to think many questions about the land use regarding to pasture, plant poles, mining, and city centralization and stretch the private felt tenting or housing districts. The main goal of this research is to develop a method processing of land use upon remote sensing and Geographical Information System. By this research work we selected Orkhon province, borders with Darkhan-Uul, Selenge, Bulgan provinces; for the geographical location, it is about 1200m above the sea level in the north east area of mountainous region Khangai which is forest planting zone of Mongolia.Orkhon province has specialty that there are all enable types of land use (mining, planting, city, pasture, forest etc). Land use was mapped upon the method of remote sensing and geographical information system using the reports of Landsat satellite of 1973, 1992 and 2000, Google earth and localization mapping of scale 1:1000000 in 1983.
