Effects of the Water Quality Maintained by Ozonation Enhanced Ecosystem in the Landscape of Reclaimed Water

the landscape of reclaimed water always broke out water bloom because of containing high concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus. The TP and TN of the landscape decreased to 0.04mg/L and 2.27mg/L respectively with recycling ozonation at the end of the experiment. Chlorophyll a was 94.3mg/m3 and CODCr was 45.1mg/L. Ozonation could inactivate the algae but not destroy the cell completely. Comparing to the landscape of reclaimed water without ozonation, the algae reproduction was well controlled, while the quality of the landscape water was superior. Ozone could promote the biodegradability of landscape water although it could not remove algae and nutrients directly. The optimum ozone dose was 5mg/L-10mg/L. The maintenance techniques of recycling ozonation that improved the water quality enhanced the ecosystem of the landscape to avoid water bloom.
