Integrated Technologies of the Platform for Clean Steel Production An Important Direction of the Technology Progress in Steelmaking

@@ After entering the 21 st century, the steel industry has been facing the challenge not to be able to produce steels with better and better microstructures only but also be able to economically produce high quality steels on large scale, e.g. Be able to produce steels with ideal compositions on more than 100t/heat scale or be able to efficiently and economically produce more than million tons of steels annually which can meet the year by year increased property demands of the users for the fabrication and application. So, making right definition of "clean steel", establishing the concept of "economic cleanliness" and constructing the technological platform for efficient, economical and stable mass production of clean steels are one important topic for world steel industry and also an important direction of the technology progress in steelmaking.
