The speech recognition technology is widely used in the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system of the new generation of the call center. The design and implementation of IVR system based on speech recognition are discussed in this paper. In order to implement a speech recognition system using voice card, a speech enhancement method is given on the basis of improved spectral subtraction algorithm. The kernel software of the system is designed using Finite State Machine, featuring with clear control structure, effective program code, high stability and flexible extensibility. The system is tested in recognition accuracy, and the results show that the system is stable and practical.
