In light of the enterprise spatial organization theory and regional economics development theory,this paper researches the spatial organization distribution and innovation strategy of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Group),SAIC in short.The research targets on the R&D department,automobile manufacture,auto parts,Sales network and service network of SAIC.The paper through research and analysis on the spatial organization extension process and the layout regulation of these aspects,proposes that the main innovation strategies: the optimization of spatial organizational structure,the merging of the enterprises constructed the Global Networks spatial organization pattern.SAIC expands itself by merger and acquisition small-scaled domestic of foreign and domestic enterprises,so as to take advantage of further economies of scale.They also cooperate with transnational company (TNC) on the entire world,embed and upgrade themselves in the global value chain (GVC).
