摘要

The fatigue crack growth behavior of a cracked aluminum panel repaired with a piezoelectric patch is investigated using a coupled meshless local Petro-Galerkin and finite element method (MLPG/FEM).An efficient displacement interpolation method is applied to determine the stress intensity factors (SIF) along the crack front and the Paris law is used in the simulation of crack propagation process.The effect of the voltage applied on the piezoelectric patch on the fatigue crack growth behavior is numerically investigated.
