摘要

As one of the major contents of urban construction, the construction of educational architectures has been confronted with the issue of quality elevation in various aspects along with the development of educational theories.In the post-disaster urban reconstruction in particular, the educational architectures will shoulder the double missions of both physical reconstruction and spiritual reconstruction. Starting out from the intrinsic characteristics and requirements of education and with an eye to the issues arising from the elementary schools amid the 5.12 earthquake in Wenchuan and the rehabilitation needs of the primary students in the quake-stricken areas, this paper points out that to reconstruct the elementary schools in accordance with the sustainable development concept not only meets the generat requirements on educational architectures in the 21stcentury, but also is an effective way to reshape the urban spirit, heal the psychological wounds of children, and keep long-term educational quality and the health of the people in the post-disasterreconstruction.
